Fitness and Cardio

Intense training promotes endurance, strength, and stamina. The repetitive training teaches you to go the extra mile to reduce your physical, emotional, and psychological limitations. In addition, it improves your health and reduces stress.

 

Ju-Jitsu – Ju-Jitsu translated means “gentle art”, however, its results can be extremely devastating. Utilizing the scientific principles of balance and leverage, the art allows the weaker opponent to manipulate a stronger opponent.  The techniques include submission holds, chokes, judo throws, and joint locks.

 

Striking Drills – Close-quarters striking drills are incorporated into our training to improve power and enhance muscle memory.  Hand, elbows, knee, and shin strikes are practiced on padded shields.  Our repetitive drilling combinations with the hands and feet become part of your automatic response system to prepare the students to go the extra mile in the event of an attack.

 

Stamina Suit – The stamina suit is fully padded equipment that allows the student to deliver full power kicks and punches with a degree of realistic contact.  This type of equipment allows the student to increase stamina and build confidence in their fighting skills.

 

Weapons – Today, a stick, gun, and knife are the weapons of choice.   The powerful art of Arnis (stick and knife) is a major component of the system.  Students learn the five angles of attack.  The art of knife defenses and offenses is taught along with stick training.  This training helps to improve hand and eye coordination, timing, and speed.

Avoidance and De-escalation – To help you develop street awareness and verbal skills needed to avoid confrontation which potentially can become physical.  Learn to assess the signs.
